MOOD BOARD 4 - STYLING

This mood board not only shows some of the outfits that classic Northern Soul Club Night Goer's would wear but also what we hope our model for the photoshoot could take inspiration from and same with the central protagonist of the film. Due to the community brought by mod's and african american soul music, polo shirts by brand such as Fred Perry and Ralph Lauren paired with baggy / flowy trousers and skirts, were the perfect combination for Northern Soul nights. Breathable clothing was crucial as how much the 'soulies' would work up a sweat. As the Soul Nights got bigger, there clothes got bigger. I would like the model's to incorporate this into there looks, we have a plan of looking around charity and vintage shops ourselves to see if we could find something to fit in with the dress-code.
