FIRST DRAFT OF STORYBOARD

Here is the first draft of our Story Board. It is a very rough draft but it was useful to sit and plan out 12 different shots which would help to structure our main video. The shots include establishing shots of the view of Sheffield, to set the scene, close up shots of the face to establish facial expressions, medium shots of the central protagonist walking around Sheffield, heading into Record Shops and second hand clothes stores to enhance the Northern Soul Vibe. We also stated that we would use several panning shots, to establish both the model's figure and the location. Again as mentioned before, some of the buildings we wanted to focus on were the Park Hill Flats behind the Train Station. To establish the working class central protagonist who was the star of our project. We also had the idea to start and end the video with the same shot, to loop the video back round in a way, we thought this was a creative idea and also to express the regularity of Northern Soul in a working class person's life, to help them escape.
