FINAL IMAGE

As a group we chose this image to be our final piece. You can really see the movement of the model which emphasises the Northern Soul brief and in one of her positions she is making eye contact with the camera which brings the audience in closer and was something I really wanted to incorporate. The shadows add depth to the image. 

The 4 things which are Northern Soul based in the photo include;
- the ankle length skirt; a common garment at Northern Soul Club Nights
- the movement; to connote the dance and eccentric movement
- the loose blouse; another loose item of clothing worn to be cooler at club nights
- the strobe-like lighting; represents the lighting at club nights

Overall, I am proud of this image, and do believe it captures our concept of freedom well.
